Invisible Bridges looks into stories of cross-cultural significance.

The idea was born after my participation in a conference titled “Cross-Cultural Communication in the Digital Age” in 2010.  Organized by the International Center for Journalists (ICFJ) and the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAC) the conference brought over 40 foreign corespondents from all over the world to discuss issues of religion, ethics, diversity,  use of digital and social media. Inspired by the idea of encouraging cross-cultural communication in hopes of improving understanding between cultures, people and countries, I decided to start this blog and concentrate on stories about global affairs, languages, cultures and arts.
